You can request GCMS notes through visafile.info, will cost you 25 CAD. After making the payment, sign the consent form and email it to them. Usually it takes exactly 30 days for them to email it to you. No address in Canada required for this.

Are you guys planning to call or raise a CSE? My AOR is Mar 20 with background check not started

I already raised a CSE and sent an email to CPC- Ottawa. Here are the results:

Reply to the email:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required.

We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum. In order to process requests efficiently, we will not be responding to duplicate requests.

And reply to the CSE:

Dear *****,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We have verified the information you provided and can confirm that your application is in process.

As you can see there is no use in raising a CSE. Reply to the email was more specific than CSE. So sending emails (with a subject like "Urgent"), calling CIC , and ordering GCMS notes would be better than raising a Case Specific (Unspecific ) Enquiry.

Apart from 25 CAD for a Standard Order, you need to provide Express Entry Profile number. Its a pretty standard form to fill.
Once you make the payment, you will receive an email which will contain the Consent form. Sign it (if your spouse is accompanying, he/she also has to sign the same form) and send it across. 30 days window starts from the date you send the consent form.

If everything is fine as per GCMS, then its just a matter of time.

If there are some concerns, then the officer will review it thoroughly. That's what I could infer.

It won't be possible for officers to review each and every file thoroughly.

Thank you so much for sharing the number. I called CIC and they told me that my application is cancelled. However, my lawyer is saying this call center agent is checking online only and because of the IT issue he is telling so. Claims is they did not refund the fees and they have send me previously a screenshot with the status... Anyone with same experience ???

Such an awkward situation, Call center say it is canceled, but your lawyer claims it is not? I have never seen such a situation. What I kow for sure is that your application can be canceled if you don't reply one of CIC's requests for mode information, documents, or passport.
