Please don't expect too much from calling CIC, most of the time they say nothing useful.

If you want real information, you need GCMS notes.

We just need patience since that's our only choice anyway.

These notes takes a month to come back, and by the time they come they are usually outdated. If you catch a nice CIC agent, some might tell you exactly where your application is.

Use the same letter to send all the dependents' passports in one package.

Can you share your application details? (Category, VO, and dates of BG in progress and medicals)

I think few people got it. Check the March AOR spreadsheet.

We are also waiting. I hope the PPR will come soon. I will call CIC once the 6 months are completed. We are a family of 4 (my husband and 2 children).

FSW inland
AOR March 19
Medicals passed (March 7)
RCMP police record request (May 2)
Ghost mail (July 27)
BG in progress

Congratulations to everyone who already received PPR!

Hi

I need your help Experts.
Summary of my profile.

Company 1 NOC 2712 – dec 2009 to July 2012 Experience = 32 months
Masters : Aug 2012 – May 2014
Company 2 NOC 2712 – July 2014 to Feb 2015 Experience = 8 Months
Company 3 NOC 2712 – Feb 2016 2014 to March 2016 Experience = 11 months.

Got ITA in March

Company 4 May 2016 – till date .

Total experience = 51 Months at the time of ITA from company 1,2 & 3.

I've two questions here

1. Does my experience before masters will be counted as continuous full-time and included with my recent experience?
2. I changed my job before AOR and didn't update CIC regarding it, will it cause an issue? The letter i sent to CIC from my 3rd job which mentions I worked there till march ,but couldn't get a new letter from company 4.

Thanks

Seems complicated. As far as I know you have to notify CIC of any change in you job circumstances after you get your AOR. Whatever education you mentioned while you got ITA remains that way. From what I am aware, from ITA to AOR and to when you apply, you are not supposed to change your job. In order to get ITA in Express entry, you are evaluated based on many factors such as the education and job you mentioned in the express entry. After you get AOR and you apply, you can change jobs but it must be of skill level A,O or B most preferably your same profession would be good. You can call CIC and ask about your case.
