Congrats everyone who received PpR today,

I am trying to be positive but honestly speaking I am desperately waiting especially seeing some of you received PPR already with AOR date like mine.

Hi,

Do you guys believe, it takes more time for CIC to complete the background verification if you have lot of travels recorded in the passport . Just curious to know the reason behind few people exceeding the 6 month + mark. I will be completing 6 months in another 10 days. Me and my wife have traveled 14 countries so far and I am curious to know if this can be a reason behind the delay for few ppl.

What can be the various reasons behind delay in completion of BG verification ?

My BG Check in progress since June 14. I have travelled to five countries and provided all the required PCCs. I think delays are more prone to the VOs handling the cases than anything else.

My brother and I both applied based on OINP. He applied in Jan but from Saudi Arabia - his case was processed in only three months. I applied in March from Pakistan and now I am finishing my sixth month but still waiting.

So don't be worried and hope for the best. You would hear the good news soon.

I would like to call, but i am not sure if its good idea to call right now since my 6 months is on saturday. I just wanna know the status of my application. What is the good question for them to give me a good answer.

Its a good question. They have given status updates to only a few lucky people. I have called them and they won't tell anything except for what I can see myself. So I am also wondering what those lucky people asked?

Yah thats the think we need to know. I think i will call next week since they saix that we should call after 6 months of application.

Please don't expect too much from calling CIC, most of the time they say nothing useful.

If you want real information, you need GCMS notes.

We just need patience since that's our only choice anyway.
