Hey everyone. I've beed silently following this forum for quite some time now and finally decided to ask someting. Thank you all for the updates and all the useful information.

AOR: March 3, 2016
Medical passed: March 17, 2016
BG check IN PROGRES: September 14, 2016

Today was this last update about the BG check, but up until now no changes were made. What would be the min/max waiting time from BG In progress to actually receiving PPR?

I've managed to get information that my Centralized Intake Office is in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Anyone with similar situation that can help?

Do you guys believe, it takes more time for CIC to complete the background verification if you have lot of travels recorded in the passport . Just curious to know the reason behind few people exceeding the 6 month + mark. I will be completing 6 months in another 10 days. Me and my wife have traveled 14 countries so far and I am curious to know if this can be a reason behind the delay for few ppl.

What can be the various reasons behind delay in completion of BG verification ?

If this is true, mine will take really long... I reached the maximum lines possible when filling out my application and some travels were left out...

I dont think so. If you have provided necessary PCC you are good. Also, If you have traveled to different countries I assume they do a central database check . I am MAy 30 AOR PNP inland my BG went in progress 2nd time on 12th August. I have traveled to many countries so lets see what happens. Good luck hope you hear good news soon
