But problem is: My Background Check is still "Not Needed at this time".

Not a real problem... but taking a look at all the ones who got PPR, all of them had BG turned into progress end of july...

I hope we all have absolutelly no problems! On our way to PPR!

My guess is that those who are still waiting have some sort of Government or Military experience in Personal History.

Just mailed my passport to Ottawa, hope Ottawa can return back my passport and COPR within 2 weeks. I've already started a new job but unfortunately due to PR issue, I can't get paid yet!

yeah I hope that it is just a queue and not something else. I was just trying to speculate the reason for delay based on my personal history... as you can see the waiting is getting on me now too much as I need to decide whether to extend my visa in UK or not which is going to cost me an arm and a leg!

PPRs stopping just a day before your AOR date ...makes one even more impatient......

I was asked to send his military records in July. Could it be because they know all Turkish men are to complete military service?
I have no idea about this but maybe they know that in which countries you must do military service and then ask those candidates to provide documents.

Do you think compulsory service and being an officer is the same?
again no idea, I think if it is an officer in a civilian dept of military then I guess it's classed as govt duty?

Sep 08 – PPR!!!!!
