wonderful, any one on the list pl correct me if im wrong......i guess all fsw outlands have their VO as ottawa, any fsw outland from NDVO? !!!

To those who have not received PPR email yet, just be a bit more patient, your day will come. Ottawa embassy just slowly moves ahead. Order GCMS notes to get to know the latest progress for your application.

Also, rejections past 5 months are extremely extremely rare. To my knowledge, those crazy late applications are just because of NOC code-duty mismatch, in-convincing proof of funds (such as a large sums of money without clear source), in-convincing job reference letter (number of hours not clear etc)

My guess is that those who are still waiting have some sort of Government or Military experience in Personal History.

My husband completed the compulsory military service more than 15 years ago. Would that count as military experience that would keep me waiting? Or is it military officers that get delayed?

I think it has to do with primary screening - if anything took longer than expected, you get dropped to further in the waiting line.

If your application gets transferred to your local VO, processing will depend exclusivelly from your VO...

Mainly, many of the applicants that got ppr this week are from Ottawa or NDVO... so the pattern is: How clear your application is Vs effectiveness of the VO where your application is.

Thats my opinion...

In fact, PNPs from Sao Paulo VO are waiting more than average.

Received the PPR email this morning. Thanks a lot to everyone on this super helpful forum!

Just mailed my passport to Ottawa, hope Ottawa can return back my passport and COPR within 2 weeks. I've already started a new job but unfortunately due to PR issue, I can't get paid yet!

I don't think so. They only ask history for last ten years and I hope you have entered only last ten years history in you application.

I was asked to send his military records in July. Could it be because they know all Turkish men are to complete military service? Do you think compulsory service and being an officer is the same?

Yeah... my expectations are set for October 4th... first tuesday after my 6month deadline.

But problem is: My Background Check is still "Not Needed at this time".
