An update: My wife and I went ahead and submitted our passports to VFS Bombay today. Tracking status says the passports are on the way to NDVO now.

Anyone heard how long it takes for CIC to send your PR documents after you send your passport copies/photos (Inland - OTTAWA)?

About 7 to 8 months...

1) Does receiving a PPR request mean your PR is approved? My CIC account shows the same in-progress status.

2) How long will it take for my passport to come back? I submitted it today.

congratulation and don't bother, it's normal. The CIC stages are sometimes changed later (or not at all).

I am March 16 CEC AoR'er. Bumped into this thread after restlessly looking up the internet regarding the Processing Times. ;D :-X

So glad that such a thread exists for discussion!!!

My Query:-

I have made my travel plans to India on Oct 6th. Provided I get my PPR by Sept 20th (Fingers crossed !!! ), can I expect my Passport with the stamped Visa before Oct 6th?

Let me know your views please.
