LOL when I said that in June (CIC staff going on vacation) someone snapped at me that vacation won't change anything...

No, nothing is going to happen during any weekend, regular or long. Offices are closed.

When I was giving the real picture of processing times a month back. Someone from April didn't like it at all. Lol.

Its nice to be realistically optimistic. Not blindly optimistic.

The only email I've recieved on a weekend is regarding the background check; the bg update mails are sent out a bit late ....say 24 hours later or so - I logged in on Friday night and the bg was in progress but I got the mail on Saturday night. However, don't expect ppr mails on weekends!
