Since there were maximum ITAs issued in dec/jan, NDVO recieved a lot of applications in feb. So in order to redistribute the workload some apps from feb end and early March were sent to Ottawa. Also If you look at the tracking sheet early feb applications from NDVO are seeing movement only now, while the student application rush is only recent. Ofcourse this is just a thought.....and never cars for GCMS.
Is your app at NDVO?

your application might be processed in ottawa, but the final stamping and ppr will come from your local vo i.e ndvo, i think your file should have been transfered to ndvo after 22nd july date of ur bg change, but don't you get ur ppr soon as ndvo also seems to be active lately, they usually send ppr in my cic so u can keep checking both my cic and your emails, good luck.

You mean you think I'm ok? I hope so..

Looks like that...

I know this is kind of off topic but I need your opinion.

I have a valid study visa but have not used it since I changed my mind about studying in Canada. I wish to visit Canada for a short visit soon. Do you think I should apply for a TRV or can I use the valid study visa?

How long has it been since your study visa was issued?

It was issued in April. My program would start in August but I couldn't make it and now I want to fly in for a week in September. I'm not going to study, so I can't tell the officer that I'm going to study. But I'm not sure if I can apply for a TRV either, since a study visa sort of includes a TRV. What do you think?
