Lol. I felt like sharing it here. I shared it in one of the other threads.

A guy was discouraging people from immigrating to Canada. The irony is he lived here for 7 years and he is in the process of applying for PR : )

Yeah I saw that one, I didn't reply because I would have been rude. Pathetic.

Yes. He had a point but he could not communicate it properly. He scared people rather than educating people on how things work in Canada.

Anyway, I am expecting my PPR during the last week of August. My BG check went into Progress for the 2nd time on August 4th.

I have a question; I heard from other people that the PPR come trought the email only and you have no update on CIC website and you have to allways check your junk mail box to make sure you don't miss the PPR deadline.

is that correct?

unfortunately it is,
and sometimes they send email to email address that you didn't even provide them while applying, such as your consultants in the past or your college email etc

You get the message in the cic inbox right, And a notification email 'you have a new message', Is that right?

not in cic inbox. They send a direct email to your email address.
and no notification email or any changes to mycic
