I think so too!
So, you guys think that our cases will be processed in 5.5 months.
I really hope you're right.
After a 5 month wait in 2014 for my LMIA, this wait is brutal even if I consider myself lucky to already be in Canada...

Those who submitted their applications in early March can expect a result; I really hope! Some of them have reported a chnage in their bg status too.
And yes the wait is killing!

Just now got a ghost email that my application is updated. But no change when I log into CIC.

Canadian exp - EE - Inland
eAOR - 12 Mar 2016
Medicals passed
BGC - not needed at this time

One more ghost mai on 29th, one on 27th. But no change in status.

Hey guys,

I received my AOR on the 30th of March, 2016. Recently I got married and I had to update the status change and change of address to CIC. I did that on June 16th but did not see any changes on my application. I raised another CSE on July 26th. Where will I see the updated address and marital status change? And CSE is the only way to let them of these changes, right?

Do let me know.

Thanks much
As far as I know, yes. But since you've had to do,this twice, call, them and inform, so you're sure that they've recieved it.
Hope you've recalculated your points, and have the relevant documents at hand.

Hello RitJ,

Thanks for getting back. You mean, call the local VO right? I have my marriage certificate. Isn't that enough? My spouse will not be travelling with me if I get through. I will need his documents(MC, PCC) later on right?

Yes, the local VO. The marriage certificate should be fine and any additional documents will only make your case stronger.
Since your spouse isn't traveling with you, Im assuming you guys will be applying for a spouse visa later. Yes you will need the mc, pcc etc. It is also better if you submit some photographs or any other supporting docs; have read about this on other threads - visa officers requesting for photos.
Even though your spouse isn't travelling with you, just check your score again.

That's good news! More movement for the early birds!
I got a mail the next day after my bg went in progress and it was a Saturday. Probably the mail was stuck up in the server.

Yes, it was "not needed at this time" before that, you can see that in my timeline ;D
