Yep, most probably

Not all the time. There are always exceptions like my case, I was asked to provide supporting docs for proof of funds yesterday, in the meantime, my BG check is in progress.

Guys my AOR is 4th march, INLAND pnp.

my BG is in progress since march 17 but i received 2 ghost emails one on 20 may and one on 16 june, as per GSMS notes my security started on 21 may.

i thought the ghost email i got on 16th june would be a ppr email but haven't received any thing yet,

please let me know if any one of you have 2nd BG in progress recently.

Guys

When background check turns in progress for the 2nd time, does it mean that everything else is Ok or your could still get rejected at this stage?
My BG updated to in progress 2nd time on July 7, so I am wondering how long I will have to wait to get a decision.

Yes, you can request for extension within 2 years of being nominated, twice, for 3 months each time.

FSW is processed at ottawa. Our file may not even go to ndvo. We may just get ppr from ottawa.

All applications are processed in Ottawa before being sent to Local VO for further processing. different stages can be checked at different VO's.

Some applications have A11.2, R10 processed at Ottawa and some are sent to Local VO for either R10, or A11.2 or both.

Are you sure?

I know they are processed at Centralised Intake Office first and the transferred to local VO's.

CPC Ottawa is a local VO for people living in Canada.

After CIO, most of the files reach CPC Ottawa before local VO. My R10 was done at CIO, A11.2 at CPC ottawa and thn the file was transferred to NDVO.

I did provide 6 month bank statement, but there are two e-transfers to my bank account from parents before the submission my application. My application is HK office and they ask me to provide the source for the available funds. My AOR was 21 March, both R10 and A11.2 met according to GCMS notes. Again, BG check is in progress.

Well, technically, you can get rejected at any point. However, mostly the indications seem to be positive for you. As per what most people have reported, the BG going in check (especially 2nd time) indicates a PPR within a week or two.

Note: This is speculation and a general trend that I have seen.

Thnks a lot. All the best with your application.
