After receiving ghost update yesterday I have received an update email today and my background check has now went to in progress.

Is any other FSW outland having similar movement in their application?

As per country of residence my VO should be Ankara, Turkey however, I am still waiting for my GCMS notes which should confirm my VO.

BG check for many applicants from Ankara VO has changed to 'in progress' in the recent past! You will get your PPR before the GCMS notes Good luck! Please do share your notes for some insights whenever it comes..

I am an outlander AOR in March. Have not got any updates yet and has just ordered a GCMS note.

Had my background check changed to in progress this morning and just after one hour I received email stating there is new message in my CIC. I checked the message and its a PPR ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Strangely, my visa office is New Delhi. I am Indian citizen and residing in Azerbaijan so my VO was suppose to be Ankara, Turkey but its NDVO.

Everyone waiting for PPR please don't lose hope - there is indeed light at end of tunnel.

Question - How do I get my VO changed for submission of passport? I have no intention to travel to India for now.

Very Very Happy news, and many congrats!

Maybe you can find some agencies where you live to send your passport to the specified VO through them.

What did you do when you were waiting? Did you made a case specific enquiry? Or ordered a GCMS note?

Congratulations Bran. Feeling much relieved now...this is the first case in last 2-3 weeks processed at NDVO. I thought the whole staff went for summer holidays.
