Not a single applicant, but both fields are in my name. Do I pay separately for each accompanying family member?

Yes that's correct!

Another silly question: I have to create an account to pay online, right? It is something separate from GCKey account. Please confirm and release me from the stress hormones

Please follow these steps:
1. Go to the website: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en
2. Read the instructions on each page, and click "Continue" to proceed.
3. Select the "Immigration" link, followed by "Right of Permanent Residence Fee"
4. Upload the receipt in your myCIC account.

Not sure what you refer about creating an account? VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS cards are accepted..

You just need to create a new account to use that e-payment (Online Services). I was just unsettled because I didn't understand how they associated MyCIC account to the payment I was making. However, apparently, they don't associate anything at that level. So all is okay, I have already paid and uploaded the receipts! :)

Thanks for your help!

Hi All,

PNP Outland AOR March 12.

Background check turned into Progress from Not Started on 18/5.

5 days later, I received a ghost update followed by ghost email 24 hours later.

It's been dead silence since.

My understanding is that if your background check turns into progress after a couple months of silence then you should expect an update/PPR shortly after.

Is anyone here having a similar timeline? Any ideas how long it might take till I hear something?

Thanks in advance.

It is not necessary that you get your PPR a couple of days after your background changes to In Progress even though this has been reported numerous times.

A few PPRs have been given in the last couple of days so hopefully your PPR is also in queue with those just waiting to be sent out!

Do we have by default an upload RPRF link in my CIC even if we do not pay the fee upfront? I was told by my agent it will only be enabled when CIC sent us RPRF request. is it true?

Hey Sexy people, anyone got their Background checks to "In progress"? or Got PPR since yesterday?
