Therefore, especiallyt those who have got their GCMS please throw some light, once the BG changes to "not needed...", is indicative of R10 & 11.2 checks being successful? I ask this since I've noticed a pattern that the app is transferred to LVO after the initial checks only. Correct me if I'm wrong!

A pcc was requested for my wife on 13 March. I uploaded it on 20 April.

BG check changed from "in progress" to "not needed at this time" today! Hopefully it is a good sign!

Same thing happened on my profile some 2 -3 weeks back and nothing has changed since then.

Is there anyone on the forum who got the status for BG changed from " Not Started" --- > "In Progress" ---->" Not Needed at this time" ------ " ??? ". I am curious to know what is the next step. Maybe folks who ordered GCMS notes can provide additional details.

Can you state your timeline?

I suggest you order GCMS Notes to check your progress after 2 months.

Also don't be surprised if you hear nothing for some months. Look at my timeline.

There's no update on my app post 25 March. BG is still "not started". I was hoping for a PPR by July end. But that looks unlikely now

July end is quite far away and still very possible, just remain hopeful for the best

Hi All,

We (me & my wife) have VISA(thingy stamped on PASSPORT) valid till September 2016. Our PR(EE -CEC -Inland) application is in process. Also, OPEN WORK PERMIT(extra document on landing) issued for my wife & Visa of kid expires on SEPT 16, 2016. But my WORK PERMIT IS till Jan, 2017.

So, my question is when We should apply for BRIDGE PERMITS, since it seems PR will take time . Seems, atleast for my wife & kid , I may need to apply for Bridge, right ? Please guide me... Thanks in advance.

We are close on the timelines. Like someone said earlier, set a target of 4 months and if it happens earlier, then great!
