Did you declare your child accompanying or non accompanying? I also have a 1 year old Canadian child (non accompanying) and I filled out a questionnaire similar to Sch A then CIC generated and asked to upload her birth cert. and nothing else. You must have a gap on dates or a missed out information. Just go ahead and comply to the request as theres no way not to include them in our file.

I declare her as non accompanying. The online application has a small section for her, there are some questions and I was requested to upload the passport and certificate. Probably, I made some mistake on filling those questions, so that's why they ask me to upload a schedule A. We'll see what happen next.

Thank you for your reply.

Guys my background check changed from "Not started" to "Not needed at this time" after 15 days of AOR. It never changed to "In progress" in between.

Does this mean something? Someone told me that this means R10 has been done.

The processing is all parallel. As Asivad mentioned that real status of file processing status and one that is visible in front end is rarely in sync.

So to elaborate the R10 checking , PCC ratifications and criminal checks, medicals, etc are all happening in parallel, in the interim, the case is transferred to concerned VO.

So don't bother to interpret the statuses, as IRCC has made it clear through several communication mails, that there is some work happening on all files every week.

Crux is to wait till they communicate.

I know this is one of the dumbest thing, but how to create a signature, I looked for it but couldn't find anywhere.

Hi pavanvk, please first click "Profile" on the upper right and then click "Forum Profile Information" in the LEFT UPPER region under "Modify Profile", then you will see "Signature" on the right. Goodluck with your application~

guys,
i noticed a connection between taking short time in processing file and number of family members!
i mean the less family member, the shorter time of processing u will get.

we always compare between the inland and outland applicant, but never ask about family numbers!
i might be wrong but i think there is a connection.

Thanks Guys - Signature updated
