From the spreadsheet, what I observe is inland applications (whether its FSW or CEC) usually progress slower and have slower updates on medical results. Maybe it's because the visa office has to deal with the largest amount of volume of applications. From the annual report http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/reports/ee-year-end-2015.asp, there are way many inland applicants (Country of Residence of Invited Candidates Canada constitutes 78%) than outland applicants.

Well I can't comment on why my medicals got updated so fast. But what I can say is I did eMedicals from Hamilton ON, on 14th of March and submitted my application on 23 of March (I guess by this time they might have done the required diagnosis).

what i observed is they generally update both completeness check result and medicals both on the same day.

Background check changed from 'not started' to 'Not needed at this time' after 15 days of AOR. Does this mean my file has been transferred to local VO. Or something else is cooking.

Guys does this mean anything?

Did your BG check turned to 'In Progress' at first then 'Not Started'?

Nope. From 'Not started' to 'not needed at this time'.

Damn son, I'm inland and my dates are identical to you. My medicals changed yesterday to "passed" as well but no change in BG. CIC web site is like crack atm i'm logging in everyday more than 60-70 times >__<

thats not good for your health, try to stay calm, check cic only twice a day, one in the morning, one at night.. its better. or just wait for the email. there's no reason to check cic if there is no new mail
