Filled my PNP-Ontario (ECE) file on December 4th 2015
Got my PNP nomination on February 5th 2016
February 6th I got my ITA
March 21st submitted my file (waited this long (44 days) to get my police clearance from my country that I have not visited for 12 years lol)
April 1st got a request for Schedule 4 - submitted it the same day
April 5th got my Medicals changed to "passed"

Well I can't comment on why my medicals got updated so fast. But what I can say is I did eMedicals from Hamilton ON, on 14th of March and submitted my application on 23 of March (I guess by this time they might have done the required diagnosis).

what i observed is they generally update both completeness check result and medicals both on the same day.

I think that means they started the R10 review, should not be the other way around.
R10 mostly takes about 1 to 2 months to complete based on what I read from this forum.

My bad - I misunderstood it. Now that medical passed - Background check should go "in process"
I guess I am just excited by seeing an update after 2 weeks.

Actually it is a good sign. Your application now passed R10 and left CIO to Ottawa visa office. You will not see any progress in the coming 2 months or so till your BG turn again into "In-Progress", shortly after this comes the PPR.
