You can apply from outside Canada if you have someone in Canada to do it for you or you can use a third party service like www.caips.ca. It takes up to 40 days to receive the info back after applying.

Finally get medical passed after 13 days of AOR, so crazy :'( No ghost email received. I just check the mycic every day~

Background check also went to "in progress". I guess this refers to R10. Last time I got cancellation because of PCC after a month of AOR. So I guess the R10 stage is going to be at least one month.

Thanks for the update ImmiToCanada, gives me some hope. I received AOR on 9th of March and there's been no further update. I am hoping I see some progress before the long weekend.

Firstly Congratulations 'ImmiToCanada'..! and secondly I thank you for your comment "I just check the mycic every day~"... I just checked MyCIC after reading your comment and I saw that my Background check went from 'not started' to 'not needed at this time'....! (NO ghost email received...! am not sure exactly when this happened... but let's say 24or25-Mar-2015 IST)
I am assuming that this is a positive thing coz I observed this in the MAR-2016 spreadsheet as well. Do correct me if I am wrong.

Yes that's correct. R10 is completeness check. You may only know if yours is passed when you order GCMS notes as it will state "R10 OK"
