Keep me in the loop. I have a similar profile - NOC 1112 - Financial Analyst VO - New Delhi (I am from Mumbai), ITA 10 Feb 2016, AOR by 30 Mar 2016 hopefully (delaying AOR for FBI PCC - expected by May end).

Thanks for your input 'umassd'..!

Hello 'Can.ott' Thank you for your response..! No, I have not applied for FBI-PCC yet...! But having read quite a few post in this forum I am in a dilemma that whether I should apply for the FBI-PCC... I should probably start preparing for the FBI-PCC in case CIC asks for it.. Thank you once again..!

It takes i think 60 days for your FBI PCC(not sure about the time). its better if you apply now, if they do not ask thats fine in case they do you will have it ready!!

Thanks a lot! Can.ott. I will start asap..!

Currently, it is taking almost four months. So if you really think you would need it, apply ASAP. BTW CIC also has access to FBI database and since you lived in the US less than 6 months, they may just check your background themselves.

That's a lot of time and I guess lots of application to process by FBI..! Anyways... it is good to hear that CIC can check my background details... Well, thank you so much 'umassd' for your comments and views. At least, I can start my preparation meanwhile..!

I had a contact with FBI customer care on 4th March. At that time they were processing application received on 16-Nov-2015 and the processing time was 15+ weeks to open the file 16+ weeks to complete the check and mail the results (if the fingerprints were acceptable).

Further, PCC is required only for those countries where you lived for more than 180 days.

That's a hell of a timeline...! Yeah, true.. as per the IRCC immi rules we need to show PCC for those countries where we have lived for a cumulative 6months or more, however, sometimes (depends on a case-by-case basis) it is at the sole discretion of the immi officer to request an additional PCC... I hope and pray it doesn't happen in my case..! ;)

Hello,
Please add me to March spreadsheet.
Timeline as follows:
SINP Nomination: December 22, 2015
ITA received: January 27, 2016
Application submission and AOR: March 9, 2016
Medical passed: March 10, 2016
BG changed from not started to not needed at this time: March 11, 2016.

Received 3 ghost emails since submission. I don't expect Schedule 4 request since I already included in the LOE section of my application.

Good luck all.

Yes - They will not request sch 4 now. I had also done the same thing and I didn't receive any such request - It has been over 3 weeks since AOR.

.the whole process is manual....when I asked the customer care about the most common reason for application rejetion, they were:

a) application not received - to fix this, use a courier with tracking
b) Fingerprints were not clear - for this, make sure you send at least three sheets so that at least one is acceptable

For some reason I can't post links but just search for "FBI Identity History Summary Check"

Good Luck ...
