Hi Friends,
My overall point score is 492
ITA- Dec 18th 2015
Application submitted on- Jan 19th 2016
Request for documents -Jan 20th 2016 (provided)
Status - open , eligibility review in process, medical passed, Background check not needed this time .

I have applied for PR on 09/01/2016 . I also applied for my work permit extension on march 2016, through paper application to bridge the gap between PR process and my current work permit expiry date(9th July 2016). considering my situation, please provide me some feedbacks or suggestions whether I can get any of two prior to the expiry of my current work permit or what should I try else ? :'(
In all likelihood, you should have your PPR well before the expiry of your work permit, but I am not too familiar with this situation, so let's wait for other, more experienced people to help you out.

Logged in my CIC today, file shows updated, no email sent. But nothing changed. I guess someone touch my file today. Hope nothing bad. finger cross.

Due date was May 11th 2016

I am totally uninformed about this so I could be way off with this, but wouldn't it be easier to land before the baby is born, have the baby in Canada and not have to worry about baby's PR? Does Canada give citizenship to babies born there or it works in some other way?

I am confused because usually they do not do x-ray test when pregnant and hence medicals do not get cleared until the baby is born.

Has your medical been passed. If not, then I believe you would need to get the medicals done once your wife has a baby. Then get the baby's passport and raise a CSE to include the new born.

Hope this helps. Also, congrats on the good news :)

Thanks for the info (which does make sense)! But I am not the one with the baby. I was just reacting to someone else's question ;D

What is wrong with NDVO!!
I was hoping that I ll get PPR by July end (4 months after AOR). Seems unlikely now!

Silly question I know, but how can I confirm my VO? Where do applicants FSW Outland applicants from Pakistan get processed? Is it Islamabad or London?

You'll only know for sure when you get your GCMS notes.
