Sorry didn't get your point , when you apply for GCMS notes , do we have to apply for 2 different things , i thought applying through application number will reveal everything

I have 2 applications right now - paper PNP application and Express Entry one - that's why I had to apply twice.

Thank you! This is great piece of information. I was trying to order mine and could use your help. Did you request for information in the 'electronic file' or 'physical file'

Once you select Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada from the drop-down menu, you should only have 2 options - CD and Email.

Does this mean without GCMS notes, you cannot know when your file has been transferred?

Hi,

My case is handled by Agent. Hence, I do not have log on details to CIC.
However, I saw few posts that it can be tracked on the below mentioned as well.
services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?app=ecas

Has anyone able to log on to it..?

Regards,
Amit

This service has been stopped for EE applicants.

Well it's safe to assume that your file has been transferred when there is status change on your BG check but you can only know for sure from GCMS notes.

Did CIO request a Schedule A from you? And if so can you remember when?

status update

Just received two new messages, a little confusing...

First one at 6:44am, requesting RCMP criminal record check for me (principle applicant)
Second one at 7:04am, started with "please disregard the earlier message, the RCMP criminal record check is required for (my husband) only"

I have not heard of the "disregard" thing from other applicants..... I am thinking, to be on the safe side, I will get PC for both of us. Any suggestions?

Hey guys,

Does NOC code A and a masters degree from a top 5 university in Canada helps to get the application processed faster? Just wondering. All my University buddies got their PR application processed within the following time:

Friend 1 & 2: 1 month
Friend 3: 1.5 months (RCMP was requested)
Friend 4: 2 months

Whats your opinion on this?
