Received the PPR email this morning. Thank you everyone for guidance and support throughout the process. On that note I have another question: my passport is currently with another country for business visa as I have an upcoming trip in first week of October. I will be gone for three weeks. Any way to get extension and change visa office to New York? Just email CPC? Can anyone share their experience? Thanks in advance!

I genuinely hope the folks who are waiting get their PR soon!

First, congrats!!

CIC process US based applications at CPC-Ottawa as well. All you can do either send your passport once you arrive NY or send an email to CPC-Ottawa asking for extension.

I'm sad to hear most February FSW Outlanders have not received PPR yet! I thought CIC had completed processing them!

Does that mean early March applicants need to wait for a couple more weeks?

I checked previous months spreadsheets as well and I see lot's of applications still in progress. People probably don't return to the forum after they get PPR or rejection to update the spreadsheet.

Hi All,

Today Morning I received an email from CIC. It says CPCFO Final Request. It reads The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email to: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.ca with details concerning your situation...... Then a set of instructions to send photos etc.

Has anyone got this email from CIC? It does not look like ppr or copr. What does this mean? Please advice asap.
