BG in progress: Since July 20 or 22. (I don't know for sure)

I´ll cross the 6 month barrier in 2 days and still nothing

Yes we expect every time because we all,s (AOR MARCH)are going to complete our six month period after few days.

On a distant topic, if I enter Canada on a TRV, will the border officer see on a screen that I have applied for a PR?

BG went in to In Progress yesterday and got email related to it today morning at 9AM which I saw only at 11 AM when I woke up... thinking email was for my PPR I logged in CIC hoping for PPR message but that was not to be... logged off the system and in another few minutes at 11:09 got another email about new message in CIC... logged in again to system with a pounding heart and there it was ... PPR message in CIC.... and then the most beautiful PDF I had ever seen... PPR

Congratulations Dev! Somehow I knew that your PPR email will follow quickly after your BG in progress when I yesterday read that it is in progress. Congrats again!

I don't see why not. The only issue that I see from your posts is how you going to send your passports after PPR; send back home and ask someone to resend for you, then return it back?

Unfortunately it is hard to get answers for specific questions from CIC, I am pretty sure if you call the call center 10 times you will get 10 different answers for the same question.

Anyway if I were you, I would apply for the TRV yesterday or postpone my trip. Otherwise how are you going to enter Canada 09/11 without the TRV?

I hope you can do that on time. I was hoping to get everything stamped and receive the COPR by the end of next week (because I have some travel plans) but now it doesn't seem very probable.
