Tomorrow's a national holiday here ,so I guess the VO can't send out any PPRs. Unless it's an automated thing of course. Otherwise I'll have to wait one more day.

But for the PR there's also the wait for COPR.

Do you think it would be ok to send in my passport for a TRV stamping after I have already received a PPR for PR?

Can you please tell us as to why you are applying for a TRV now? I don't think it makes sense - if you get your PR visa and COPR, you can land as a PR - Why do you need the TRV? I am not sure about this but if you get PPR for your PR visa application, your TRV application would be cancelled by IRCC/VO.

I have travel plans for the 11th and I can't postpone them. It seems I can't get PPR, get my passport stamped and receive COPR by the 11th. That's why I thought it'd be a good idea to apply for a TRV. I might be able to get the passport stamped but the COPR takes about another week to receive, I guess. If you have any suggestions on this issue, I'd be very glad to hear them.

Not very sure about this but this sounds a little complex to me. I suggest you to send an e-mail to the VO and mark the mail as urgent. Hopefully, they'll get back to you about the best course of action!

Good luck and all the very best!!

Hello Everyone !

I have got my nomination yesterday for AOR March 16.

Few Key Points I would want to share including time lines. Before that story about why canada?

After having worked for close to 10 years (in the same company)and travelled many countries it never occurred to move out of India - however last few years I have realised that change is permanent and one need to look and shake one self up - in the same spirit decided to move on and resigned from the company and switched to a boutique firm - however the profile and role did not match and was getting uncomfortable by the day after being in a comfort zone - Also our young one came into our life just then (he is 2 years now) - i started to realise that i need to do something meaningful and fulfilling (happy at work = happy at home) keeping this in mind starting to look beyond the existing options. Was looking at few options to immigrate US (L1 was turned down : EB5 was very expensive route) so US was out. Aus/NZ/Denmark other countries that i looked at and was not very encouraging. Out of the blue an email hit my Inbox saying attend a seminar for opportunities in Canada and thus the journey started. I am very thankful to the forum about the process and patience that i picked here. Cutting the long story short few facts below.

1) Sep25th' 2015 EE Profile Created
2) Score Reflected on Oct4th @451 (Missed the previous draw just by ONE DAY : And realised how important every day in life is! Had to wait for almost an year and the draw scores only kept increasing : March Happy Birthday and score reduced : Irony of life, score dropped to 448 and literally had no chance in recent draws)
3) Oct8th: OINP Picked the profile.
4) Nov5th : Submitted the documents.
5) Mid March : AOR
5) April : Request for WES scores to be resent. (sent in a week : acknowledgement rcvd for the same in a weeks time)
6) May : Request for additional documents ITR for three years asked.
7) June : Got a mail stating that file is the decision stage.
8) Aug 29th : Ta Tang : Mail saying that Govt of Ontario has nominated me for their PNP.

Please feel free to ask any number of questions.
Peace out have patience and be good and documentation and things will fall in place. Again my sincere advise every day counts - be prepared.

Good Luck !
Ekta

Best,
Ekta

Wow Congratulation! But you are not on the right thread. This is a thread for applicants who have submitted e-APR in March. You should join the November OINP thread.

Here is the link ---> www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/updated-topics/-t382152.0.html

So many of us (including me) are waiting. I am a November 5 applicant too and I got my AOR on Feb 11, 2016. However, this is the wrong thread and let us not discuss any further here. Please visit the November thread - so many people would be happy to hear from you!

Thank you very much for your reply. I simply want to go to Canada for holidays, and since I do not know for sure when I will be issued a PPR, I applied for a TRV. It's as simple as that, actually. Personally, I never thought of this as a complex situation.

TRV processing takes only 4 days here and I'm on day 3, so I'll just wait and see.
