Folks, I ordered GCMS notes through GCMSnow.com.. after completing payment, I received an email which I am supposed to sign, scan and send to the GCMS org. The name has my name and another strange name on it; Reznik Luri - I am wondering why the name appeared on the form and who the person is... I tried to google but I don't seem to see his name anywhere... Anyone seen this before???

The document is a consent form where you authorize someone else to get access to your application on your behalf.

This Reznik Luri is probally this someone.

Just checked status again and found BG Check has changed to "In Progress". Seems like someone is working right now on my file.

No, I haven't ordered a new set of GCMS notes.

BGC In Progress is generally positive at the 5th-6th month, so let's hope everything goes well for you.

My sister received her PPR in Mar 2016. Her category was FSW Inland

the email came from: "CPCO-FinalRequest / CTDO-DemandeFinale (CIC)" <IRCC.CPCO-FinalRequest-CTDO-DemandeFinale.IRCC@cic.gc.ca>

It could be from a different e-mail address (local visa office) for Outland applicants, I guess.

I am using Gmail and I have added a rule in Settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses >
Matches: fromcic.gc.ca)
Do this: Never send it to Spam, Mark it as important

Any email that matches cic.gc.ca -> It never sends it spam and mark it as important. All those using Gmail can do this. Due to google's strong spam and promotions policies, we sometimes miss important email but this can be useful. It should work ideally.

Hello Seniors who received PPR,

What does the 'From email address' for the PPR request email look like?

I read on other threads that the PPR email goes to junk folder (some cases) or they send it to the employer and so on. I just wanted to clarify this with the seniors, who received PPR. That way, all this confusion is avoided.

I received my PPR from donotreply@cic.gc.ca. The message came in my inbox foler of that email address, that I provided while creating my CIC profile.
The text in the email body was " You have a new message in your account. To view message sign in to your CIC account.
Once I login-ed to my CIC account, I found a new message and when I clicked on it, a pdf file was opened. That pdf file was the PPR letter.

I hope it will clear, what you want to know.
