ITA: 10 Feb
AOR: 16 March
RPRF: 23 July
Background check changed from 'not needed this time' to 'in progress': 6 August
FSW Outland applicant

Got a heartbreaking news today. After waiting for more than 5 months, we got an email today that our application was refused.
Our AOR was March 05, with 790 points. CEC inland.
The refusal letter says the points was reduced to 180. Called the cic and asked for clarifcation. They said the officer thought that the job was seasonal. Which really confused me as we provided the LMIA, T4 etc.
Was advised to appeal. Anyone who has the same case here?
Need advise please.

Hi @maria_bernadette,

I think you are referring to ATIP site which allows the residents to order case specific notes, yes they usually send the notes within 30 days, however my last note sent after a reminder to them on 31st day. Have you tried sending them a reminder with your receipt and request reference ?

to be on safe you should have extension with you, but it is not necessary

Is thr any provision of oinp nomination validity extension when the file is under process at CIC. Although, it doesn't matter if the nomination expires after AOR, just want to hold a valid nomination to re-apply in unfortunate scenario of rejection.
