if u live in canada then ur vo can be ottawa or ur vo in home country but if u apply from PAK and u live in PAK then 99% ur vo is Islamabad.

Hi thanks for answering I got some information about fst cic make decisions in Ottawa after that they forward file in home country then they paste ur visa on passport. I am apply from Pakistan.

I am an FSW inland applicant(no PNP, no LMIA). I applied for GCMS notes earlier and my status for R11.2 as of June 7th has been Recommend Passed. Everything else looked all hunky dory from the notes. Security was in a 'Not started' state and Criminality was 'in progress'.
The only CPC offices I could find from the notes appear to be CPC Ottawa and CPC Vegreville.
About 15 minutes ago, I received a ghost email update; my first one so far. Background check has remained 'in progress' since March 25th, when my medical was 'Passed'. paid all fees upfront, so not expecting any additional requests.
Wondering if anyone else with a similar timeline has the same status?

I have pretty much the same time line.
AOR March 15.
BGC in progress since March 30 when medical was passed.
I have CPCs Ottawa and Begreville in my notes.
My eligibility is (was?) recommended passed
My security and my criminality are in progress.
But I'm a CEC inland

When did you get your GCMS?

I am AOR March 19th.

I am left with just Security. My notes were generated on June 17th.

Some early birds in March AOR (1st, 2nd) already got BG changed into "in progress". I guess it may signal the start of Security

I think it depends on where you file is being processed.

GCMS notes will tell you exactly what you are seeking advice for i.e. what is the status of your file. Ordering it is always a good option for getting information with no negative affects.

Usually London VO are the quickest in issuing PPRs however there are many on this forum who are sailing in the same boat! Order GCMS notes if you need an insight on the current status or sit tight for another month or so

GCMS also helps you to understand if there is anything flagged in your file and if possible gives you a chance to "try" and remediate it before they reject you.

Major advantage like you mentioned is satisfaction
