Hi DOD
I landed at Peace Arch/Douglas boarder (Surrey BC)
I parked my car on Canadian side, walked to the US Side, Flag poled, Came back and completed my landing.
No questions were asked, except
Have i committed any crimes: No
Do I have any dependents
Then officer asked me to sign COPR
Then officer asked me to sit and wait, took 10 minutes to do something on computer
and After that he gave m e the Flag and said those Golden words
Congratulations your a Permanent resident now. :) :D :D

Congratulations taoluk!!!

Hi DOD

Even though they did not ask me any questions, but i still took some documents with me, like my job letter, nomination certificate etc.
So i would suggest you to also take your proof of funds, job letter etc with you for landing. just in case if they ask to show any documents.

Good Luck

Thank you again!

Lahoria as per policy then you should be ok. You are good send a CSE and let them know of this, print that page if need be from the CIC website. I have not come across a case of your scenario but my points did go down before the ITA. Guess having PNP helps out in such cases !!!!

Check out this page

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/refuse.asp

select this drop down

Exemption to section A11.2: candidates whose birthday occurs after they receive an ITA

this is pretty clear but the officer has to apply for

"public policy to exempt applicants for permanent residence from certain age-based requirements between invitation to apply and application" on your behalf

See if you have any notes regarding section A25.2 in your GCMS - post if you see anything.

You are a lucky person Lahoria a few days here or there could have ended up being a long wait for you. It hasn't come down to 459 for quite some time now.

Scrolled through 100+ pages but found nothing about A25.2 in GCMS notes. The PDF doesn't even allow selecting text or searching.

I guess like CADparity said may be the officer working now on the file is not exp. enough to know about this yet but sure enough before a decision is made there should be a review I am sure they will catch on Lahoria. It will be helpful for them if you print out a copy of this and upload it to CIC and send a CSE with a letter saying that you found these GCMS notes and were wondering if this will apply to you. Just put it across gently and you should be good.

In any case I did see the Rounds of invitation after 461 it actually went down to 450 before spiking to where it is now. The way I look at it now you have nothing to worry.
