Which Indian applicant got processed in London? Maybe their current country of residence was UK?

hmmm workload ? ;)

Yup they are currently in UK for work but the background check might include the Indian background check as well.

The workload maybe a factor but background check is usually outsourced to a third party and I assumed it might be the same one irrespective of the VO.

BG check in this case includes the crimes and security only or it incl work exp and ielts also.

BG Changed to In Progress (June 4, 2016)

Hopefully this is good news that a rain is coming! :)

update for spreadsheet:
my medicals went back to "passed" after for 4 days... (june 1) must have been some sort of ghost update..

and my background check went from "in progress" to "not needed" on April 5, no nothing since then..

cheers for the fabulous spreadsheet!!

My background check changed to In progress on 06/05/2016
It's almost a month and still I didn't get any updates... Is there any one whose BGC is in progress for more than a month? ??? ???

Guys!
I sent an email to CPC to ask about the current status of my application coz I could not wait for the note to be received 20 days later. The answer I got is:
“Dear applicant,
Please be informed that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be reviewed. Please be assured that you will be contacted immediately should further information be required or regarding the next steps in your file. We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

What is the meaning of this? Does it mean I have passed all primary checks? I mean work experience and POF,…?

Is it normal that I have not passed my medical and eligibility assessment yet? AOR was first week of March, based on the posts here most the people pass the medical within 1 week after their AOR.

As far as I understand , every application is reviewed by an analyst and once the analyst recommends that your eligibility is met it goes to an officer for his review and approval. I guess your eligibility requirements are being scrutinised at this stage.

Order GCMS notes if you need clear views as CIC will never provide you any update over emails (you may even piss them off sometimes by emails and calls)
Good luck!

It is odd that you haven't passed Medicals yet because I hear it takes upto 1 month for it to pass. Maybe you should check with the hospital once and also order GCMS to see what is happening.

I guess it checks crime, security and work experience. IELTS would be a different piece that can be checked by CIC directly using the reference number.

Thank you. What is GCMS?
