Depends on which local VO you are sending your passport to. :D

July candidate who just got PPRs, are you guys aware of any reason for the delay? as its 8+ months :)

Congratulations naredont & achievement !! It was a long wait for you guys, finally it's getting over :).

Any specific reasons why your application processing took much longer than others?

Thanks Chiyakam,

I believe for the delay updated new passports for family. However, i can't understand why they took long time. With refer to my GCMS notes requested on Jan, it was clear that BC completed on 25 Nov 15. In addition, last updated (25 Nov) notes by visa officer is " Request schedule 4 + PHEP"

I belive PHEP means passport request.

on 31st, got a reply from ADVO to submit Schedule 4 and one more form which is not applicable for me. Since, they took one month to send PPR.

To be surprise, they requested to submit Schedule 4 along with PPR. This reflects my GCMS notes received from CIC in January.

I submitted this form three times (AOR, Jan and March). Which is clear by reviewing my GCMS notes.

I though ADVO is the slower than other VOs. At last Good news. I hope this helps

HI guys,

I have actually applied in Feb 2016

I just wanted to ask those who have already landed in Canada How is there life shaping up?

are you guys finding any difficulties from the locals or the government in any form?

Are your guys able to find jobs and work smoothly.

Hi Guys. I have got my PR a couple of months ago and did my landing in may and then came back to my home country in a week. My PR card were mailed to the address provided (family member) and my family member brought it to my home country in-person (so nice of him to do that). Now I am confused if I can travel using the PR card or using COPR (I am in US so can travel by land as well)? If I travel using PR card and if the immigration officer cross verify the dates on my passport then wouldn't they question me on how I got my PR card while I was outside canada? Has anyone done something similar? Please advise.

You can use the PR card for travel IMO.
