PNP:NS What is yours?
Regarding Schedule 4 and 4a and Schedule A for me and my spouse, I submitted on 5-Aug-15 but never received receiving acknowledgement of anyone of them. Is it normal?
Moreover, my BG status changed from: Not started to Not required at this stage??
Your opinion folks?
Mine is Manitoba. I didn't get any acknowledgement too but it is stated in my Ecas that they requested additional documents on two different days .

Hello guys,

How much time does CIC give you to send your passport after you get PPR?
I have to leave Canada for one month from Dec 4 and based on inland FSW trend, I'll probably get PPR in late Nov or Dec (If I get it at all ::) )

You have 30 days to submit your passport and they should send it back within a couple of weeks. (or if you're from a visa exempt country you just need to send a copy of your bio page and any stamped pages).

Hi, everyone

I am curious regarding the order the VOs process our applications. According to my observation, it doesn't seem like that they process the applications on a "first come first served" basis since some ppl obviously got PPR/DM in about one or two months while others wait for about four to five months (and submitted applications earlier), so they do not process the cases based on date of ITA nor date of AOR (or maybe some)? I am guessing the VOs just randomly pick a couple of applications to look into and make decisions on a daily basis as long as they can finish all the cases assigned to them within 6 months? And this makes the date of submission somehow irrelevant? any thoughts?

Sorry if this topic has been discussed before and I am happy for ppl who have received PPRs .

Any input is appreciated :p

Hey. It can't be random. I think it's about complexity of application. Or NOC might have a role. If someone has visited or stayed many countries or changed many jobs ,they might take longer than application which are simple. So I believe there must be some differentiation. I can't be just random. ;D
Good luck everyone

In my point of view, it's based a complex algorithm factoring in Country or Residence (VO backlog and VO avg processing time), Total Financial net worth, Overall score, NOC code and years of experience.... Would love to befriend someone who works at CIC to confirm what the algorithm includes :) .. What many forum members have noticed is that applicants from Nigeria have one of the quickest (if not 'the' quickest) processing times (averaging 35 days or something like that)... Also CEC's generally tend to have the fastest processing times. Anyways, good luck to us all!

Keep in mind that there are different documents needs depending on what country you're from, the number of applicants (family or not...) and their situation.
If you get Schedule A request, Language test results request, medical check etc... It surely slows the process, allowing other application to be processed in the meantime!

I had everything at the ready before applying, they just asked me for the "use of a representative" document and nothing else. My Outland FSW was processed and approved by the French VO in 64 days!

Probably is a little related to the NOC code though. Because I was comparing my timeline with Pavneet (who already got the PPR) and the only major difference I had noticed (barring anything too specific like countries travelled and the like) is the NOC code. Fairly similar AOR dates and CRS scores. Same country of application. Also, the Pavneet's application was for a family of 3, I am a solo applicant.
