Thanks for reply.
For background check: it is stated as "Not needed as this time".
When i looked into general explanation icon this means that they have not received the PR application yet. However, I have already submitted my application in 17-July-15. What does it means?

Processing has slowed down recently. Earlier this year, it took less time. From my observation, it's quite normal. More draws, more applications are to be processed. There are still people from May and June who are waiting.
Be a little more patient. It will come for us in time...

Yes you are right and good observations! What is the difference between following two statements:
BG Check: Not started yet
BG Check: Not needed at this time

My BG check changed from "Not needed" to "Not started" the same time when my "Medical check" changed to "Passed". And i know other people who also undergo the same change.

You don't need to read too much into it. Especially for applicants outside Canada, quite a few of them had BG check status remained unchanged through out their application even when they were requested PPR.

Those document requests from your ECAS should be more indicative of your progress in my opinion.

Received the ghost email from CIC this morning. Keep finger crossed.

That probably means update in your ECAS and very likely to be DM

Thank You, Hopefully they will send PPR soon...
I haven't done much research regarding how many days they take after taking RPRF. Has anyone done this research ?
