I have been so addicted to this forum, suddenly I feel i have lot of free time . I may not check this forum that frequently now. Anybody wants to take ownership of July tracker, please PM me your email address.

Ok so got some email from cic this afternoon saying my profile had been updated but no updates on mycic or ECAS. Thought I'd check before heading to bed and I've got Decision Made. Let the wait begin for hopefully PPR!

Thanks PK. I work everyday including weekends because my work permit is expired and I want to have enough money when the government asks me to stop working. Otherwise I would have volunteered. I wish you bright future ahead in Canada.

Also, I got a ghost email this morning and My CIC showed my application as updated but nothing has changed. ECAS is also the same. :

Secondly, and this is a really stupid question but where are you guys finding your UCID numbers? The only actual mail I have from them is the AOR email and that only has an application number.

Have you applied to CIC before? UCID is 8 digit number on your VISA or work permit or study permit.

You need to send your request to reinstate your ecas. Seems by mistake you clicked to remove your details from ecas. The request should be submitted via cic to https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

I sent the case enquiry about it and they said once you are deleted from ecas you will never be able to get it back...

No, I have not. So, I am just being paranoid about not having a UCID, right? I haven't been able to access my ECAS and I have exhausted all possible permutations and combinations of my country and last name. Just probably a blind wait then xD

Some times they mess up your last name/ country of birth. and if you haven't applied to CIC before than you won't have your UCID (Unique Client ID). try to give CIC a call and see if they have messed anything up or not. all the best.

Hey so did everyone's "background check" status on MyCIC change before a decision made? Mine still shows "Not Started" but I checked the sheet and a couple of people did have that change for them at all.
