Nowadays even GCMS notes take a while. I have been waiting for almost 40 days and nothing.
My advise to you would be if you are going to order GCMS, don't lose a minute.

Hi Guys, please help me out with following doubt...

I've got mail to send my passport today for PR visa stamping which I will send today. My current work permit is going to expire by Feb 2016 end. Reading from the other posts I came under impression that it takes about 3-5 weeks for stamping. I'll then go to border for flag polling. Is it a good idea to apply for work permit extension or wait till Feb 3rd week to apply for it?

Hi,
Has anyone here completed the landing process at Niagra Falls, Rainbow Bridge?
I need to understand if there is a way to make a U-Turn in the no-man's land and head back to Canada border? If there is then would the canadian immigration accept me for landing?
Or do I need to present myself at the US immigration to formally get a letter of non entry into US from them?

I don't have a good feeling about the flagpoling if I have to make myself present at the US immigration because then I will have to answer Yes for the question "Have you even been denied entry in to the United States" for ant future VISAS.

Would appreciate your help!

I do remember there was a link posted by one of our forum members where we could apply for GCMS notes. I think the application charge was $5.

Could anyone kindly post the link ? It would be highly appreciated. :)

If you plan to send your passport today, rest assured you will receive it by end of January. All the best :)

that's a good question. Anyone?

It does not make any difference in your future application for US visas. Though you can avoid this by doing your landing at Peace bridge rather than Rainbow bridge. They have different lane which will re-enter into Canada and you don't have to go on the bridge. You can also do inland landing at CIC office in Etobicoke but you have to make an appointment for that which usually takes 2-4 weeks.
