Hello Friends,
Can anybody tell me here what is the meaning for “waiting for officer’s review ??” Because my file gets stuck since last 6 months for officer’s review. Can anybody tell me how this things work and how much time does it take ??? My AOR is FEB 01 2017.

Need help !!!

I have this question.
I'm living in US and I got nominated by a province and i'm planing to move in the upcoming days, i got my PR and all and my US company is willing to transfer me to it's Canadian offices , but these offices are not in the same province. my question is if this is not illegal and if would have any problem with this.

Thank you

Hi seravimol,
I can't speak definitively on this as I am neither a lawyer, nor an applicant under the Provincial Nomination Programme, but I'm sure I've read somewhere that, while PR's are technically and legally able to settle anywhere, not fulfilling the 'promise' that resulted in your provincial nomination (and likely, therefore, your ITA and eAPR) could have an impact on your renewal of your PR Card/ application for citizenship down the line. You might want to check with a lawyer...

I missed to mention that i will be living in the Province and i would work remotely from my home at the province not at the company's offices

Oh! I can't imagine that would be a problem...

Hi. How do you know if you are in security screening? I’m AOR Jan8th and in background check is written NA.
You can confirm you are under SS by doing one of the following:
1) get your GCMS notes and check if there are security screening entries under your 'activities' section
2) email your VO, if they say your case requires additional verifications, you are under SS
3) call IRCC and ask if the delay is due to security

Hi everyone,

I want to order GCMS notes, I have a close relative in Canada who will make a request on my behalf.

Now, I know I need to sign the Consent for an Access to Information and Personal Information Request (IMM 5744) form but not sure if I need one or two of those documents since I have a NON-accompanying spouse. Do I need to fill Section A (my info) and Section B (her info) on one document and that's it? Or do I need a separate Consent document signed by her?

This is what's confusing me: On the Consent form itself, it says:
(1) "Please be advised that you must submit a separate consent for each individual in your file over the age of 18 if you wish to receive their information as well".
(2) SECTION B: "If you are also seeking information of your spouse or common-law partner in your ATIP request, you must indicate their name and signature".

So I don't understand if I need one Consent document or two. If the answer is two, how do I fill in SECTION A and SECTION B on each of those files?

If you could please give me your advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Definietly not a problem and you are in a great position compared to other new comers who have to find a job and settle careerwise! best of luck!

Hi,
I am CEC Feb 01 2017 applicant. My eligibility is still "Recommended Pass". Medical and Criminality both "Passed" and Security "Not Started".
My Medical is expiring in first week of January.
Does anybody know when do i need to take the medical exam again ? I mean do they ask me to do it again ? or they will automatically extend ?

One more thing,
What could be the reason behind my application for not having any process since april month. I have ordered 2 GCMS notes and there is no progress since april. Even my Security is still "Not Started". I am at NA2 since 9 months. Back -Ground is still "Not Applicable".

Your Answer will be really appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi eveyone.
I'm AOR JAN 8TH.
My Medical is passed. Yet, it is expired now! What happens if I get my PPR?
If you are inland, your medicals are extended.
Otherwise they will request another medical.
