Hello Friends,
I look up to you, Jan people for a better understanding of my status. I am FSWO, my AOR is 28th March. I became IP2 on 12th July. My agent has sent a status inquiry to Ottawa office and below is the reply she got:
"
Please be advised that your application has been approved and is being processed as per our regulatory timeline at our office.

Please note that we do not require any information from you at the present time. You will be receiving instructions shortly. Regrettably, we are unable to provide you with a timeframe, but rest assured we are doing what we can to process your application in a timely fashion.
"
It seems a long time to remain in IP2. Is there any further processing or checks that are required once application has been approved? Will it be of any help to order GCMS after application is approved?

Thanks for giving your insights, friends.
well its good news its approved, just keep checking your mailbox and account for the PPR mail.

usually even after approval, they dont send PPR right away. they send in batches... but hopefully your turn should come very soon

good luck

Hi

I am PNP Inland. I also called cic at my 6 months make and they said same thing to me that it is approved but file is in Ottawa right now. I got my ppr after 6 days in 19th July. Have faith my friend. You will get it soon. I would say you should call them before ordering gcms notes.

Congratulations...........Did you find the exact reason for the delay ??? Did you ordered GCMS ?????
I am asking because I have already passed the regular 6 months processing time.....It's 6 months and 9 days today.....
your answer will be helpful to me !!

Thanks Navd & thestunner
Do you people have any idea, why they keep approved applications hanging for so long, without sending PPR mail? I mean, why not just shoot the mail and get it done with?

Got PPR on Aug 2 finally. Timeline as below. BG status "stuck" on we are processing your background check since Feb 17. Called IRCC and the agent told me my application has been approved since May 18. I was waiting for PPR every day since then. It was very frustrating.

Hello jack, no i do not know why. I was planning to order for gcms notes if ever i get to pass month 7 but it came 4 days before. I think yours is on its way.

When I called , they said your application is approved but it is not closed. So when it will be closed, I will get ppr email. I don't know what they meant by close? Some times it takes longer as they process it groups so if one person's application is taking longer then whole group waits.

Hi

Did anyone received their passport back recently?

Please provide the time frame, how long it took to have it stamped along with landing papers? Thanks

That makes sense ..........Well sort of, I've seen in this thread or some other that there is someone with application approved in May and he got PPR on 2nd Aug only. Mine is on IP2 since 12th July (almost 1 month) and I got the mail that it's been approved on 28th July. Could be that there's a crack also where some approved applications slip through. Maybe there's a whole batch waiting for a single officer to close and that officer is on vacation sipping some exotic cocktails  ......
