I got PPR you guys!!!

I sent an email to Port of Spain office this morning and then got an email that there is a message in MYCIC.

The subject of the message was "Eligibility Passed" but when I opened it - it was PPR!

Thank you for all your help and I will still be here!!

Need expert opinion:
I called CIC couple days ago and agent told me that my eligibility is passed and my file is in Ottawa right now.

Agent did not tell me anything regarding my BG or security status.

What does this mean?
Am I closer to getting golden email or still have to wait ? Next week I will complete my 6 months mark. My cic account still shows my BG in NA.

My AOR is Jan 13. BC PNP Inland.

Thank you

Could you please share the information specifically how you call them outside Canada? I'm eagerly to call them too since I never got the reply of my email. Thanks a lot!

Your case is similar As mine and my BG is NA as well. if we get it before 13th July then I would say we are lucky. however current trend for PNP Inland suggests that we may have to wait more than 6 months. I think our chances of winning lotto are more than getting PPR. lol JK. I hope we get it soon :)

I tried all numbers provided by the forum such as
1 (888) 242-2100 : that is CIC's number but you can only call this number within Canada, I'm from the US and it won't connect me at all. There is no way unless you call them with a fake Canadian number by using Skype or Google.
1 (800) 622-6232 : that is Service Canada number. They won't give you detailed information and will just offer to email you a link to check your status online.
+1 (613) 944-4000 : that is Global Affairs Canada number, but they have the option to be transferred to CIC by pressing 1 for English, 1 for CIC services, then 1 to be transferred. Your call will be rerouted to (888) 242-2100 and you won't be able to be connected because you're not calling from within Canada. The trick to be connected is to hide your number when you call Global Affairs Canada (by adding *67 if calling from the US, or whatever number in your country), that way when Global Affairs Canada transfers you to CIC, it probably defaults to GAC phone number and you will automatically be connected to CIC.

Now you're connected to CIC you will be required to enter your application number and year of birth then you will hear your information from your account, then at the end you have to press 0 to talk to an agent. You will likely be transferred to an automatic message stating that they are too busy to accept calls due to a high call volume and suggest you to call back later and disconnect your call automatically. The only way to skip that message or even the line is to press 2 at the beginning because there is litterally no wait to speak with a French or bilingual CIC agent.

i tried this calling from US, but did't work, probably i did something wrong

i was able to connect, but the information you hear is the same appearing on the application page

If from the US, dial *67-613-0944-4000 from a cellphone then press 1,1,1 then you'll be automatically transferred to CIC.

Listen to what is said in your application page then at the end you will be given the option to press 0 to talk to a CIC agent. At no moment they will give you the option to talk to an agent until you listen to the end. If you select French language at the beginning you should be able to skip the "high call volume" message. Just try again. That should work.

Same
I just found out I'm exactly in the same situation after talking to a very nice CIC agent this morning.
It took me like an hour to figured out a way to call them directly without any country restriction from my cellphone and skip the "due to high phone volume, call back later or go online" message.
Anyway, the CIC agent confirmed that my application was complete and my security background was completed and they were working "actively" to finalize my application. He couldn't confirm when my background was completed so I am not sure why it takes so long for them to send the PPR.
I am now relieved that everything passed, I guess it's just a matter of time until I get the PPR.
Same here. Are you FSW-I by chance?
