Checked through the other discussion boards and apparently "Ready to Finalize" means that CIC do not require any further documents from the applicant. It doesn't mean that they are ready to issue a PPR.

I'll see if I can find more concrete information on this.

Aah thanks for clarification dear. So it means only until the Notes show 'Approved', one has no option but to wait.

I am confused here. If your recommendation is ready to finalize, then how come your security has not started yet? Isnt the recommendation supposed to come after everything is done?
Its not the case. Even my gcms notes says-***Appear to meet requirements ***. Ready to finalize. But still in the assessment it shows not started except the medicals which are passed.

What I conclude is that they write ready to finalize, so that the file could be transferred to Local Visa office. So the final thing is done by local visa office.

my file is also in SG, based on the reply from CPC-O.
What email did you use to email SG? How long did it take them to reply?

Maybe today I'll send a mail, to know the latest status of my file. I have no idea how long it will take to get the reply.
