You

That's incorrect, please refer us to where it is stated so. CIC uses from the AOR even when they do yearly it quarterly review of how fast they processed applications..they use from AOR.
Fair enough! I thought you would do some research on your own but not to worry. We all are here to help each other n to guide the right path.

Check processing times & read the notes too.

Thanks for the links and it seems CIC play loosely with what they consider to be a complete application. However, I would have to believe it is when the AOR is received as stated in the Complete Package Info. This can be verified in the Express Entry Annual Report (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/reports/ee-year-end-2016.asp) under Table 11.2 where CIC mentions that they processed 80% of applications within 6 months of which 2,562 were refused. If CIC were counting the 6-month completion time from a successful R10 completion, then the refused wouldn't make it into the statistics.

Secondly, CIC mention raising a CSE when the 6-month duration has elapsed. As applicants, we have no clue when R10 is complete unless you order the notes which isn't a requirement so it would be safe to assume that CIC's intention is 6 months from AOR.

@serious_assistance,

When are you planning to order another set of GCMS? Im planning after 10th July since that will be just 13 days prior before my six months time is over.
I had the same thought, closer to my 6-month mark rather than July 1st as originally planned.

Thank you Prashant for the links. I do not see anywhere on these links that actual duration starts after R10.

I think that's your interpretation not an actual fact
If you call the CIC they ask your AOR date and based on that date they tell you when is expected for your application to be completed

Is there a chance of rejection of application based on incompleteness after almost 5 months in the grind already?
Chances decrease over time but you can be rejected up to the date you land in Canada. The process is not over until you actually apply for your PR card.

It is the time when officer declares your submitted package as complete and ready to be reviewed.

Under R10 checks, only completeness and availability of documents are checked and not the authenticity or validity.

Hope it helps.

Stay positive :)
Yeah so my R10 on the gcms begin on the same day when I submitted my application i. e. The AOR date itself. It says R10 ready for review.

It's been quiet... I'm assuming most of us are now in NA or IP2 status.

AOR 1/7
IP 3/14
NA 3/15
IP2 6/19
PPR ?
