Just found that my application is in CPC Ottawa. My BG changed to inprogress on 19 May and is still the same.
Can anyone suggest how long it takes on average for cpc ottawa to make final decision after IP 2.

Hi sharma786,

What is your timeline? When did you filed your application? Are you a PNP Outland? My 180 deadline will be over by 23rd July.

Hi Ritawallu
Mine is AOR Jan15, PNP O, and medical pass on 8th Feb. What's yours and what's your BG status?

Did you find this info out through GCMS notes? Typically I've seen between 1 - 14 days, however if "security screening" is listed on your GCMS notes, it could be longer.

Unless your order your notes, you can only speculate where you are within the process. My notes were generated on May 19 and I learned that my Security hasn't started yet. So I know I am in it for the long haul - at least the whole 6 months.

Thanks Serious assistance
That's right it's just a speculation I can make by reading this forum updates....I don't mind waiting as it's literally worth it all I wish is nothing go wrong from here as it feels like pretty close now... though little far !!

I haven't ordered gcms note. I sent email to cpc ottawa asking where my file was and they said it's in ottawa.
They mentioned my application is under regular processing time ... Aor Jan 31.... and they can't provide suggestion in the status..

I think it comes down to the processing system. If they have all the information available to them, they are able to fly through the process. But if they hit a road block, in my case my wife's NZ PCC, then they put the application to the side and move on to the next one. Even if they receive the information or document that halted their process previously, it's not like they begin working on it again. It remains off to the side until they remember or are reminded to look at it. My case again, my wife's NZ PCC was obtained on February 22 but they haven't looked at it yet.
Oh my gosh. That is weird. I too have submitted consent form to obtain NZ PCC. Dont know what they doing by now. However ive ordered gcms which will be delivered by the end of june making it complete 5 months time

Same with me as well. I was requested for Malaysian pcc on 28feb which was submitted on 10th March. In gcms notes it shows the latest comments of officer who reviewed the file made on 1st March. They have just put aside the file even after submitting the pcc.
I have ordered next set of gcms notes to see if any update.
