Med Feb 28
IP1 Mar 07
NA April 07
IP2 April 14 and no PPR since then

>:( :( >:( :(

May i know how did you get that if application is approved ? email or call to CIC ?

I mailed to CPC Ottawa team and got a reply saying that my file is being processed at CPC center in Syndney Nova Scotia. About a month ago when I asked about my file, they replied it is being processed as per the timelines in CIO Sydney Nova Scotia. Any idea if the CPC and CIO center at Sydney, Nova Scotia is same or my file has finally moved from CIO office to CPC office??

AOR 16th Jan.

Thanks in advance for any inputs.

Give it a few weeks and watch everyone who applied after you get PPR and then tell us not to get overworked

At the same time, you have to remember that processing of applications is not on a first come first served basis. Maybe those who already got PPR had way much simpler cases, as well as the different agencies that they have to contact are much faster in responding. Not everything is on CIC alone. They also rely on other agencies to process applications. I'll just say it's a hick up with some of ours.

Not saying no one is allowed to be frustrated, because we all want to get this over with. But there nothing our emotions can do about the situation other than add wrinkles and make us miserable until we get what we want.

My application is simple. I have only travel history between my home country and Canada, twice. I'm claiming work experience in Canada only.I don't see how my app could be simpler. I understand it 'could' take up to six months, but you can't just tell someone to 'get over it' because 'they say it may take 6 months' when everyone around you is getting PPR, some way after you applied, and you're left waiting in the wings.

I don't even think it'd be so bad if the CIC actually communicated things or there was a way of seeing exactly where you're at without ordering GCMS notes and waiting a month. The contact between CIC and applicant is abysmal.

I get you. My file is also very simple. But here I am...

Hi, Is it possible for you to ask someone in Canada to call CIC on your behalf?

They would ask for personal information. If they are not listed as a representative then CIC cannot release any information about your application.
