The way it works out (as per my understanding) is that -

First your application goes to CIO (Centralized Intake Office), where medicals and R.10 gets done. Then it moves to CPC (Case Processing Centre) for A11.2 and other checks, and after that visa office (VO) is allotted.

Depending upon the workload, the applications may get processed at CIO level itself and then be sent to local VO.
I think you are very right

I received incoming calls from unknown numbers yesterday and today. Unknow numbers without leaving voicemails, would they be from cic?

They Communicate through Emails or mails.

If your curious, you can Call IRCC to ask about correspondence from them.

It's funny mention that, I have as well. Over the course of a couple days, I was receiving 5 or so a day. Is it normal for them to call you? I guess I'll check the area codes in my call log now to see if there is any correlation to the offices, since my city doesn't have one.

Does anyone know, relatively how long CIC would respond once you upload additional documents when requested? I think if I didn't get that CIC letter, it would have been my PPR. Hope nothing is really wrong. Tried to explain my situation at best with an LOE.

Usually in 1-2 weeks applicants see changes in BG after ADR submission.
