CIC asked about my background info again (IMM5669)

Timeline:
CEC Inland
AOR: 24 Jan 2017
Meds pass and IP (1): 23 Feb 2017
Travel history request (IMM 5562): 16 March 2017
NA: 22 March 2017
Schedule A request (IMM 5669) and IP (2) : 28 March 2017

Here is the additional doc request

We have begun processing your application for permanent residence, and in order to make a decision we require the following information/documents:

Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature For: XXX. Please complete form and provide explanation to Statutory Declaration Questions.

Disclaimer: US and Canadian Student Visa was rejected in the past

Is this the new norm to ask for same info again? it happened with me twice. travel history is probably due to frequent short trips down south of the border

Baji

In last couple of days, i posted my question in Jan/Dec thread and nobody gave the reply. One vague scenario is running in my mind since I got a reply from CIC about visa office. My application is in Ottawa and please you tell me it means I have passed R10 and Eligibility Assessment (A11.2). If yes how much time CIC may take more.

Please note that your application is being processed at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa.

My timeline is

AOR - 7/01/2017
Medical pass - 17/03/2017
RCMP Request - 17/03/2017
RCMP Submitted - 24/03/2017
RPRF - Not paid upfront

Federal Skilled Trade Worker (Inland), background checks are in progress since 17 March as well.

Waiting for your reply

thanx

Have you tracked your BG status? What is your current status? I believe it must be "Not Applicable"

In general, the application will be moved to LVO(Ottawa) for Inlanders once R10, Criminal, and A11.2 Eligibility Assessments are done. Regarding A11.2, the agent will give his/her recommendation based on the documents you provided. At this time, they will also initiate Security clearance.

Regarding the duration, it depends on Security clearance and the officer who is going to make a decision on your file.

Hope it helps.

Don't worry about it. I was asked for the same because my previous work permit application was refused. As soon as I explained that again in this form, the next day I got PPR :)

A little more information can be helpful:
When did your background check from in progress to not applicable?
What category are you applying under?

Also a couple of people have received the PPR email but ended in their junk folder, so check that too.

Baji ....thank you so much my friend

Actually, a consultant is monitoring my application. BG check was in progress on 24 march when we did upload RCMP. I will let you know the exact status.

Anyway, little bit relief I can feel now.

I really appreciate the way you explain the things.

TBH i have never been the one to check everyday...just creates anxiety!

Sorry, forgot to mention that I have applied for the program from Australia!

I totally understand, yes it can generate anxiety checking every day.

You can get a better sense using this tracker https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/consolidated-e-apr-tracker-express-entry-permanent-residency-application

From the information you provided me it seems that they are working through end of december right now. So maybe in 2-3 weeks you will hopefully hear something.

Keep us posted!
