Hello guys,
I am fsw inland.
Can I call Cic and ask about my application status??? The only information I have is my file number and my own personal information. My agent told me that they have their own portal where they can register and submit application of their clients and it is his personal account so he can't give me the id and password for Cic account

What should I do ? My AOR was January 31, and no updates as per my agent.

I am worried what to do with my agent? I just want to double check my status with Cic or I want to see visually my own profile.

If I call Cic with my file number will they be able to tell my application status? Please help.

I don't think you need to worry with the application status because FSW streams are also moving bit slowly along with PNP streams. I"m not quite sure whether CIC agent will provide any status to your application.

Nevertheless, you can give it a try by sending an email with all the below necessary information to the below mentioned address

Email address: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

IMPORTANT: You must provide us with your application number in the subject line of your email and include in the body of your email the following information:

* Surname and Given name(s);
* Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD);
* Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number;
* Category of Immigration (CEC, Provincial Nominee, Family Class, Federal Skilled Worker, Temporary Resident);

They will confirm in which office (CIO, CPC) your application is currently being processed. Based on the response, we can assume the status of your application.

Very informative ... Thanx for sharing

Baji I am FSW inland and i get request for RCMP after 70 days since AOR .My medical was passed same day. BC are in progress from that day. Now I am bit anxious weather R10 and Eligibility assessment (A11.2) already done or not.

Yesterday i see many cec applicants got PPR next day after submitting RCMP.

Please tell me at which stage my application should be ...when i can expect RPRF request

Thanx

We have a similar timeline and even though my medicals passed couple days before yours, I didn't received RCMP request. Guess we l now receive RPRF request once the checks are done.

It happened! I got PPR last night! Received the email around 10:30 EST.
So relieved as my current IEC visa expires one month today!
I haven't posted much but I'm so grateful for this forum as I've been watching it for months to track all the progress.
Good luck to everyone waiting - I'm rooting for you all!

CEC Inland
AoR Jan 22nd
Meds passed: Feb 22nd
Bg: in progress Feb 22nd
ADR: March 19th (travel history)
Bg: not applicable March 23rd
PPR: March 24th
My background check still shows not applicable.

I paid for everything upfront and didn't submit RCMP (wasn't asked for it either)
I'm from the UK so don't have to send my actual passport just photocopies, the photos and they asked for annex A with my mailing address.

Another day gone by and no movement :-(

Thanks everyone for your wishes. This forum is really helpful to everyone and I request Seniors/experts continue their support by clarifying the queries.

I wish everyone all the best with their PR process.

congratulation Baji.......all the best

Congrats to all of you that got PPR.
The wait is killing me. Got the ADR on Feb 24, uploaded on Feb 27. No movement after that. BG was IP, changed to NA when uploaded the form. Is it time to order GCMs?
Good luck to all!

Hi guys, small update on the application. My medical results has changed from: "Passed" to "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.". This happened over the last 48 hours. My background check changed from IP to NA last Sunday (Strange that they would be working on Sunday).

Any ideas as to why the medical would change? Is it because the file has been sent to the LVO?

Quick timeline:

CEC Outland stream

AOR: 22 Jan
Medical Passed: 22 Feb
BG to IP: 22 Feb
BG to NA: 19 March
Medical from Passed to Not needed: 23/24 March.

All fees paid upfront, RCMP not submitted and not requested.

Thanks

That can happen if your medical is not valid for 6 or more months. Other times if it is expired then you will see that change too. Order a GCMS note to see exactly which one it is. By the way when did you do your medical?

Yes, I think it is... if you're FSW Outland your notes should have your eligibility recommendation by now! Good luck.

I spoke with CIC about this sometime back ,they said that as long as my medical was valid for one year, i should be okay. The medical was done on the 19th April 2016.

Safe to assume that I'll most likely need another one, correct?

Guess thats some sort of good news.

Did you really apply for eAPR in Jan with an 8 month old medical? If so then yes, you'll probably need a new one as IRCC will not issue you a visa with such a short validity... If you got PPR today your visa would have less than 1 month before expiry.

Consultant called...
PPR email received. :D

Yeah, I was overseas travelling at the time and had no way of undergoing a new medical exam, so I got the medical test done before I left Toronto. Didn't realize that it would take almost 8 months to get the ITA. >:(

I'll book another medical on Monday, hopefully this is the last holdup.

Thanks mate
