Hi Baji81,
Let's see in my case
AOR 5 th Jan
Medical passed 24th February and BG went in process. After some day I emailed them about visa office then I got reply my file is processing at CPC - Ottawa. And till now it says we are processing your BG. What does it mean?

All the information that I provided based on the majority of the applicants trend. It doesn't mean that it is the process that CIC will follow for every case. There are some scenarios who got their PPR without even a single change of BG.

In general, the file will transfer to LVO (CPC -Ottawa) once all the validations R10, Criminal, Eligibility assessments with Agent recommendation are done. When did you esquire about your Visa Office? Have you tracked your BG status regularly?

Yes dear,
It is different case by case, I know.
I do check twice a day and I got reply on March 10 stating that your application is being processed at case processing centre, Ottawa.

Hi
Thanks very much for the detailed description.

My BG was NA for 2 weeks and then yesterday I received a message requesting me and my spouse's CV/Resume (I guess they need it to do some security check). I submitted those and am waiting now.

Based on what you said, am I right that My BG will go to IP2 only after they complete whatever check for which they needed our CVs? and it means once I see BG=IP again, it will mean that whatever they needed my CV for, is already done (and I will receive PPR probably very soon after that)? or they will change my BG to IP2 just when they are going to start that security check or whatever?

BG status IP2 will be changed once officer starts reviewing / made some decision on your file. I think during your eligibility assessment agent at CIO might looking some more information about your work experience / education etc and that might be the reason for asking to you to submit CV. Since you already submitted the necessary documents to them, they may finalize their assessment now and move your file to LVO for final decision. Till then,BG will be NA only. Once you see BG as IP2, then you can safely assume that PPR may come to you at any time.

Almost there... Good luck :)

The only option is ordering GCMS notes to understand the insight of your application. I believe, you might already ordered them by now. Even if you order now, I think you'll get PPR before the GCMS notes delivered to your mail box.

I suspect, security clearance might be eating your case time. It is not something wrong that we need to worry. Because CIC might be waiting for green signal from some third party agent.

Please keep up the patience and you'll here good news soon.

Good luck :)

Thanks a lot. This forum and you guys are awesome!

They normally don't ask for CV. I hope they will be quick about doing this check and the result will be positive.

Thank you Baji,
I m getting little worried as I have 6 employment records and I have submitted 11/2 years old PCC. Do you think this is right time to order GCMS

It seems your profile is little bit complex and that may be the reason, they are taking some time finalize. Regarding GCMS notes, you can order. But the only thing, you'll get it after 30 days. By that time, you might have your PPR ;). As your stream is CEC and I belive you might be in Canada. If so, you can order GCMS notes under privacy act which will cost you nothing. At least, you can analyze the agent comments on your profile whenever it is available to you and guide those people who are similar to your case.

Even though, I'm at final stage of PPR, I have ordered GCMS notes thrice. One I already received it with initial agent comments. Second one expected on April 7th and the final one by April Mid. That will help me to understand the process in a better way and also can help others with their queries.

I think you are right currently I m in Canada on visitor visa and applied for work permit with LMIA at outside Canada so it might be affecting the PR application. Since AOR CIC didn't ask anything.

Nothing to worry brother. You'll hear good news soon. I can understand your situation. Since nothing is in our control, just keep up the patience. This is the one and only thing we can do as an applicant.
