Most likely the case for CEC Inland applicants but who knows, it could be different for some people.lealealea said:Same question, could anyone answer please?
Yeah i believe that.. They probably have to sign some confidentiality agreement promising not to talk about work outside the office...lifein360 said:this immigration law firm site, forgot the name, did a podcast with an ex CIC officer (who now works at the same law firm). talked on all kinds of permits not just PR, but generally gave feedback on how they approach cases and why CIC went into total lockdown communications wise - as in they were far more reachable many years back unlike today how they are totally shielded - basically you can only speak to a customer service to relay message to your case agent
What happened is they used to get hounded daily by immigration lawyers and consultants pushing their own applications. Now, just to avoid all those hassles and possible mishandling because of over communication they have totally gone darkmiuonpak said:Yeah i believe that.. I have a picture in my head of this lockdown, windowless room, with a bajillion desks like in a newsroom. Two secret service type agents at the door, biometrics to scan in and out and everyone in sharp suits lol. The reality is probably a load of people who look like they could be in any office, doing anything, anywhere in the world.lifein360 said:What happened is they used to get hounded daily by immigration lawyers and consultants pushing their own applications. How come that for some applicants it takes only few days to move from BG NA to IP(2), but for some it takes up to 15 days and more. Is it relevant to travel history or number of dependent or something?Baji81 said:My BG is NA since 7 days now !!
