Based on the trend, once your BG change back to IP from NA then you may get PPR within a week. I believe, you might have that email by now. If you are using Gmail, please check Promotions and Spam folders as well.

All the best.

I use hotmail account. I haven't received the email, I hope I haven't deleted any as I don't normally check my junk. My cic account says in progress though. Thanks :)

Background checks pretty much cover your whole past. They search for your Facebook profile etc.

Even Facebook!!?? Immigration officer is such a fun job!! I'm going to apply now... Could totally utilize my online stalking skills :P

Hope the others in the early jan cycle get PPRs tonight. Wonder how much rain will rain from 9:30 pm like it did last night

this immigration law firm site, forgot the name, did a podcast with an ex CIC officer (who now works at the same law firm). talked on all kinds of permits not just PR, but generally gave feedback on how they approach cases and why CIC went into total lockdown communications wise - as in they were far more reachable many years back unlike today how they are totally shielded - basically you can only speak to a customer service to relay message to your case agent

Does BG always change into IP second time before PPR..??

Mine stuck in IP (1) since 26/02.

I think there who got PPR when BG in IP(1)

Any thoughts why..?
