I can see one reason why PNP Inlands files are moving slow.

For CIC bringing new people from outside will give boom to Canada economy, because these newly landed people will be paying the taxes once they land.

where as PNP inlanders are already in Canada and paying taxes and so makes no sense for CIC to bring them early.

just my personnel opinion

That would make sense if CEC wasn't the fastest moving stream - they are tax payers too. it is weird how outland is moving faster and inland so slow. I would think the process for all outland folk (all streams) would be slower because the background checks would be more intensive because of outside countries. For someone who has already been in Canada for a while, they have sufficient background history already within Canadian systems so ideally they should go faster

Something very strange happened to my bank account today!

can see this entry in my credit card online banking:

-----------------------------------------------------------------
Mar 16, 2017 CITIZEN&IMM-EAPPS ENLI OTTAWA $7.00
----------------------------------------------------------------

Is CIC charging me $7???

Did anyone else see something like this in their bank account?

Did you apply for an ETA? They're 7 bucks.

Now I know. My husband is flying back into Canada today and his permit is valid till end of this month. Maybe they asked him in the airport to apply for ETA, since his visa is expiring soon. He is on the flight right now.

Hmm I'm unsure of my BGS timeline and what stage I'm at.

March 9-13th: Unsure when but status changed to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."
March 13th: Medicals Passed. Status changed to Not Applicable
March 15th: Status change to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

Is this my first "In progress" or second "In progress" check?

Hi - Please add your case to below tracker and include the details in your signature. That would be helpful to you and others. You won't have to mention your AOR details ever while posting in future. :)

Nobody can tell you that unfortunately.. I have the same AOR date as you and I'm CEC as well, but even that doesn't mean tha our files will be processed with same timeline..

Hi there, I have 4 questions regarding Schedule A. Please help me answer them:
1. In Education history: please confirm elementary/ primary school: 5 years; secondary/ high school: 7 years???
2. When I fill some sections, the typing cannot fit in the box, can I use handwritten by pen instead? For example my school name is long so it cannot fit
3. For question: "What organizations have you supported, been a member of or been associated with?" ever asked when submitting for AOR?
4. Do I need to mention travel history in personal history in Schedule A?

Thanks again.
