Guys,
Someone mentioned that when PPR is sent, CIC gives 30 days for sending the passports.
Does anyone know how long takes then to receive the passports back?

It depends on a lot of things, Normal time is 1-4 weeks. Although I read on the forum, one applicant passport was held for six months before it was finally returned.

Hello All - Need some help.

I got a message to My Account today with the following text:

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the review of your application, we require the following documents:

Travel History Info Form: Information on your previous travel history (trip duration and purpose) including citizenship and resident document information.

Supplementary Information - Your Travels (IMM 5562): Provide newly completed travel information. List all trips you, and if applicable, your family members have taken outside your country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since your 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, work, business, training, etc.

I have to submit this in 7 days. I am very nervous now as to what I might have done wrong previously. Can any seniors in this forum help me. I want to know what must have triggered so I send everything right this time.

PLEASEEEE help me!

I am CEC applicant!

Thanks for the reply.
People may need to travel though. Why does CIC need the passport? Is PR attached in the passport?

Do not worry about that. It's a normal request and a number of applicants, including myself, have received such request, and some have received PPR. Fill in the form as requested, print, scan and upload.

Cheers and good luck with the application! :P

Thank you so much for helping me calm down.

The phrase "including citizenship and resident document information." - are they asking for my old study permits and work permits?

Should I also include information about my travel to Canada(although this is my current country of residence) I did not do this previously.

For outlanders (lol) that need visa to get into Canada, We do need to send our passports in.
But since you are in Canada?(I assume you are cec inland) , I am not sure why they would want your passport. Like Fizar suggested, check out the link provided.

They clearly mentioned trips you have taken outside your country of residence or origin in the past 10 years.
Just mention and provide whatever evidence you think they mean, as you know your case better.

My request did not include the phrase "including citizenship and resident document information", so I cannot help u on that.

Calm down. U have done nothing wrong. It's a normal request.

Thank you!! I am still not sure what could I have potentially missed, if any.

Im sure you haven't done anything wrong. DO you have a sibling or parent living abroad?

Yes I do have sibling and parent living abroad. But they are not part of the application. I am the only primary applicant. Should I be filling in their information though they are not my dependent.?

Are you a resident/citizen of the country where they reside?
